Responsibilities

• System Architecture: architect large-scale, enterprise codebases
• Backend Development: build large functionality and systems
• Tech Lead Responsibilities
  • Determine how new features should be built
  • Lead and manage other experienced engineers
  • Collaborate with the other tech leads on core product decisions and architecture
• Code Quality: Write thoughtful code that helps real-world needs
• Communication: communicate well technical and non-technical people

Start Window: spring - early summer 2024

Employment: Full-time in either USA (employment) or international (contract)

Communication Requirements: Great communication skills, fluent in English and available for video calls during the workday

Travel: Up to a handful of trips per year

Prior Experience

• Tech Lead: 4+ years in a role creating technical solutions, making key technical decisions and building large features
• Backend Development: 8+ years minimum experience developing large-scale software
  • Node.js: 4+ years
• Architecture: Have architected at least 2 large-scale software projects or architected large feature sets for existing software

Nice To Have Experience

• FinTech (mobile banking, payments, deposits, transactions, etc)
• Okta, Plaid, Stripe
• Amazon Developer Certifications
